IMF Counseling provides exceptional experiential learning to counselors and therapists in training (practicum, masters internship) who are prepared to take an active role as members of our clinical team.
The philosophy at IMF is to meet our clients where they are and to provide quality, evidence-based clinical services from a harm reduction perspective. We see many clients who present with complex psychological needs, substance use disorders, and other behavioral challenges. Our goal is to empower clients to meet their goals on their timeline in ways that fit for them. Clinicians at IMF utilize a wide range of theoretical and interventional approaches, allowing clients to engage with a therapist who they connect with.
We value training and supervision and invest in trainees through consultation, individual supervision, and co-therapy. Current supervisors include Jeremy Duke, LPC; Lauren Eisleben, LPC; Christy Hutton, PhD, and Andrea Wiele, LPC. Supervision is a collaborative, supportive opportunity to learn and grow in your professional identity and skill. You will record sessions; video will be utilized as a key component of supervision.
