Perhaps you’ve heard of or tried AA, NA, or SLAA and realized the “A” meetings are just not for you.
The RPR Group is an alternative to a 12-step group, fully equipped to provide you with tools, education, and support in your definition of recovery.
Participants will be able to choose if they attend online or in-person for this behavioral skills group.
Meeting Information
In-Person Group
Any RPR member who has completed the 12-week skills group is welcome to join Continuing Care. Facilitated by counselors at IMF, this group will help you continue to meet your recovery goals alongside others in a nonjudgmental environment. A common language skillset allows for safety and comfort within the group. We look forward to seeing you!
Weekly
RPR meets weekly for 1.25 hours. This group often meets midday to allow members to attend work and participate in other daily activities with minimal interruption.
Payment
Members are billed $75/week for RPR Group.
Approach
RPR is a structured group that explores the root causes of substance use and compulsive behaviors. You will learn how to develop strategies to meet your goals of decreased use or sobriety; this group provides support as you practice the strategies you learn throughout the week. RPR is based on cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing research-based techniques.
