I have been a counselor at IMF since 2022 when I began my clinical training as a practicum student. Currently, I provide clinical supervision for students enrolled in a clinical counseling program. It’s been quite a journey coming full-circle, from receiving supervision to providing supervision, and I enjoy giving back to the field of mental health – and moving it forward – in this capacity. My colleagues describe me as laid back, non-presumptuous, calm, and funny.
In supervision, we will watch tape together, create case conceptualizations, and talk about how both you and I are experiencing your clients. We will work together to create a secure attachment between us so you have a strong base from which to work and grow. I welcome YOUR style, your life experiences, and your values, and look forward to helping you develop those. It’s okay to feel like you don’t know “how to do it”, because none of us really do. I rely heavily on my own experience as a supervisee at IMF, during which I experienced exponential growth not only as a clinician, but as a person. I look forward to our work together!
